Leslie was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in Richmond, VA, and graduated from George Washington University with a B.S. in Medical Technology.
Leslie has an extensive and varied background that includes:

- Employee relocation
- Small business owner/manager
- Event planning/coordination
Leslie has worked as a medical technologist in a variety of settings and locations. She has extensive experience in hematology and chemistry. She has taught hematology at UNC Medical School in Chapel Hill, NC; been a research technologist for Maryland Medical Laboratories in Baltimore, MD; was selected as one of only four Laboratory Supervisors for the State of Maryland licensed to setup and evaluate the laboratories in doctor's offices; participated in post-mortem analyses in Richmond, VA; managed a laboratory in a vocational rehabilitation hospital in Austin, TX; and worked for numerous doctors, hospitals and reference laboratories in Richmond, VA, Austin, TX, Raleigh, NC, Akron, OH, Annapolis, MD, Baltimore, MD, Bethesda, MD, Boca Raton, FL, and Sarasota, FL.
Leslie is a Realtor (GRE) with a real estate broker's license in NC and MD; has been a mortgage loan officer; a financial consultant; and a relocation vice-president. She and her husband Lewis owned a professional landscaping and lawn service business in Boca Raton, FL.
After relocating numerous times primarily to go where the job with IBM took their family, Leslie and Lew decided to select a mid-sized community with an incredible economic outlook, moderate cost of living index, diverse industries, exceptional health care, high educational standards and an unbeatable quality of life. They chose Sarasota/Siesta Key, Florida. And now they are using their substantial skills, experience and expertise to help provide lifelong memories in their part of paradise.
Leslie has managed large group moves for employees of Fortune 500 Companies, supervised the processing and closing of hundreds of residential mortgage loans, owned and managed a successful landscaping business, and coordinated countless conferences, seminars and training events, including the planning, organization and execution of reception events for groups as large as 1500 relocating employees and their families.
Leslie has successfully transferred her organizational expertise to wedding planning and coordination in Sarasota County, Florida, specializing in sunset or sunrise wedding ceremonies on Siesta Key beach. She provides wedding consultation services for a small, intimate, elegantly simple ceremony ---> a large, formal, simply elegant celebration -- always attending all activities to insure a smooth process and handle any last minute details that may arise.
Leslie has been involved in catering receptions for weddings, engagement parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, and the like for 25 years. She also supplied her renowned chocolate cheesecakes for a number of restaurants in Austin, Texas.
She and Lewis were house parents for at risk/neglected children in the CHARLEE program (setup by the Menninger clinic) in Hollywood, FL.
Leslie and Lew recently celebrated their 43rd anniversary.
